Eagle Cap reports strong truck campers sales
July 27, 2011
YAKIMA, Wash. -- Adventurer LP (ALP) purchased the assets of the then closed Eagle Cap Inc. of LaGrande, Ore., in November and started the process of moving the production of the Adventurer built Eagle Cap product, to Adventurer’s Yakima, Wash., facility.
That process has been completed and ALP has increased production for the second time this year trying to keep up with orders, said Greg Tucknies, national sales manager.
"We have produced and shipped several runs of the popular 850, 950 and 995 models and we are just now completing the first run of the all new 1160 double slide truck camper, with the redesigned 1050 going on line next, followed by our new triple slide floorplan," said Tucknies.
"We have been very pleasantly surprised with the overwhelming customer and dealer response to the new 2012 Eagle Cap product," he added. "We have heard several comments like, “these are the best Eagle Caps ever built.”
