Last revised: October 29, 2026
Applies to: Adventurer Manufacturing's corporate website and the websites of its Adventurer, Overlander, and Scout Campers brands.

Adventurer Manufacturing ("Adventurer Manufacturing," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and provides these rules for using our websites. This combined page includes our Privacy Policy, Cookies & Advertising Notice, Email & SMS Communications Notice, and Website Terms & Conditions (collectively, this "Legal & Terms" page).

"Websites" means the website on which this page appears and other websites operated by Adventurer Manufacturing and its associated brands. Specific forms, transactions, contests, dealer relationships, employment arrangements, product warranties, and other agreements may have additional notices or terms. Those specific terms govern their own subject matter if they differ from these general website terms, subject to applicable law.

Part A - Privacy Policy

A1. Personal information we collect

Depending on how you interact with our Websites, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide: name, email address, telephone number, mailing or business address, company, preferred contact method, details of product or dealer inquiries, information submitted in contact forms or customer-support requests, and information supplied when entering a promotion or applying for a job.
  • Transaction-related information: order, payment, billing, product, registration, or service details where those features or services are offered. Payment card information, if collected, may be handled by payment-service providers rather than stored by us.
  • Website and device information: Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser and operating system, device type and identifiers, referring pages, visited pages, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP or device settings, and website interactions.
  • Advertising and analytics information: cookie or pixel identifiers, advertisement impressions and clicks, and information about interactions with our Websites or advertisements, including information provided by advertising and analytics partners where permitted.
  • Information from other sources: information from our service providers, authorized dealers, promotion partners, or other sources when it is relevant to your request and may lawfully be provided to us.

Please do not provide another person's personal information unless you are authorized to do so.

A2. How we use information

We use personal information as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries; provide information about products and services; connect you with a requested dealer or representative; manage communications, registrations, support, promotions, and job applications; operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our Websites; analyze usage and advertising effectiveness; maintain business records; prevent fraud or misuse; comply with legal requirements; and establish or defend legal rights. We also use information for marketing our products and brands where permitted by law and consistent with your choices.

We do not treat your use of a Website alone as consent to every optional purpose. Where a particular use requires notice or consent, we provide it at the relevant point of collection or through an appropriate preference mechanism.

A3. Consent and lawful processing

Where applicable law requires consent, we seek the consent appropriate to the purpose and sensitivity of the information. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawal does not make prior lawful processing unlawful. Where recognized by applicable law, we may also process information as necessary to carry out a contract, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate interests subject to applicable safeguards, or respond to your request.

A4. When we disclose information

We may share relevant personal information with personnel and affiliated companies; vendors that assist with website hosting, technology, analytics, advertising, email and SMS delivery, payments, customer support, and professional services; and other parties where authorized by you or required by law. If you request an introduction to an authorized dealer or another business contact, relevant details of your inquiry may be provided so that party can respond. An independent dealer's own privacy practices may apply to its subsequent handling of your information.

We may disclose information to regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other parties when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or our Websites. Information may also be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

Advertising partners may collect or receive certain online identifiers and usage information through cookies, pixels, or similar technologies, as described in Part B. Depending on the technology and the law that applies to you, this may be considered "sharing" for targeted advertising even when no money changes hands. Our separate restrictions on SMS opt-in data and consent are in Part C.

A5. International processing and security

Personal information may be stored or processed in the United States and in other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate. Privacy laws and government-access rules in those places may differ from those in your place of residence. We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards and use additional transfer measures where required by applicable law.

No electronic transmission or storage system is completely secure. We take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access, loss, alteration, misuse, or disclosure, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

A6. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably required for the purposes stated in this policy, including the duration of a customer or business relationship, operational needs, applicable record-keeping obligations, dispute resolution, and the enforcement of legal rights. Retention periods vary with the category of data and the reason it was collected. We delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of information when it is no longer needed, subject to lawful retention requirements.

A7. Your privacy rights and choices

Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may ask to access, correct, update, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we maintain about you; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain uses; or ask about how your information has been used or disclosed. Depending on where you live and whether a particular privacy law applies to our business, you may also have a right to opt out of certain targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information and to appeal a decision on a privacy request.

To make a request or raise a complaint, contact the Privacy Officer using the Contact Us page linked on the Website you are visiting, and indicate that your inquiry is a privacy request. We may verify your identity and will respond within applicable legal time limits. You may also be entitled to complain to the privacy regulator or supervisory authority in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, an authorized representative may submit a request on your behalf.

For marketing email and SMS choices, see Part C. For cookie and advertising choices, see Part B. Turning off personalized advertising may not prevent you from seeing advertisements that are not tailored to your interests.

A8. Children and third-party websites

Our Websites are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 16 without any consent required by law. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted information can contact our Privacy Officer for assistance.

Our Websites may link to independent dealers, social media platforms, and other third-party websites or services. We do not control their privacy practices; please review their separate notices.

Part B - Cookies & Advertising

B1. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar tools on our Websites. Cookies are small files that help a website recognize a browser or remember information. Pixels and related technologies can record page views, conversions, or other interactions. Some are provided by us (first-party); others are supplied by analytics, advertising, or other service providers (third-party).

B2. Types of cookies and why we use them

  • Strictly necessary cookies: support security, website functions, navigation, and preferences essential to provide a requested feature.
  • Analytics and performance cookies: help us measure visits and interactions, diagnose errors, and improve performance.
  • Functionality cookies: remember certain settings and choices, such as language or preferences, when available.
  • Advertising and targeting cookies: we use these on our Websites to measure campaigns, understand which advertisements lead visitors to our Websites, personalize or retarget advertising, and limit repeated advertisements. Advertising providers may use identifiers and browsing information from our Websites together with information from other websites or services, in accordance with their practices and applicable law.

The particular providers, identifiers, and cookie lifetimes can differ by Website and may change as technologies are added or removed. Additional just-in-time notices or a cookie list may be provided through an available cookie-preferences tool.

B3. Managing cookies, advertising, and privacy signals

You can control many cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, the cookie-preferences control on the Website you are visiting. Removing or blocking certain cookies may affect Website functions. Your choices may need to be repeated on different browsers or devices, and disabling personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all advertising.

Where the law requires consent before optional cookies or advertising technologies operate, we will seek that consent. Where a law that applies to our operations requires an opt-out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information, we will provide the required choice and recognize applicable privacy preference signals where required. For help making an advertising-related privacy request, use the Privacy Officer contact method in Part A.

Part C - Email & SMS Communications

C1. Marketing emails

If you request product news, event information, promotions, or other marketing email, we may send those messages where permitted by law. We identify the sender and provide an unsubscribe method in commercial marketing emails as required. You may opt out of marketing at any time through the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Operational or transactional messages, such as responses to your inquiries or service-related notices, may still be sent where permitted.

C2. SMS and text-message consent

If you separately choose to subscribe to text messages through one of our Websites or another sign-up method, we may send the types of messages described at the time you opt in, which may include requested updates, information about products, events, or promotions. Consent to marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing a product or service. Message frequency may vary; message and data rates may apply. Any specific program details will be provided at sign-up or in the relevant messaging disclosure.

We obtain consent where required before sending commercial or marketing texts, identify the sender as required, and keep appropriate records of consent. To stop receiving messages from a text program, reply STOP to a message or follow the opt-out instructions provided in that message. If supported by the messaging service, reply HELP for assistance; otherwise use our Website's Contact Us page. We process opt-out requests in accordance with applicable law and may send a final non-promotional confirmation of your opt-out when permitted.

C3. Mobile information and opt-in data

We do not sell or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their independent marketing or promotional purposes. We may use contracted messaging providers solely as needed to deliver and administer communications on our behalf, subject to appropriate restrictions. This SMS-specific protection applies even if other sections of this policy permit sharing of different categories of personal information for advertising or business operations.

A general acceptance of this Legal & Terms page is not a substitute for the separate consent required for marketing text messages.

Part D - Website Terms & Conditions

D1. Agreement and scope

By using a Website, you agree to comply with these website-use terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the Website. These general terms apply to informational website use; they do not replace applicable purchase contracts, dealer agreements, promotional rules, written product warranties, or rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

D2. Permitted use and intellectual property

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to access and view Website content and to download or print reasonable copies for your personal, non-commercial use. This is a license, not a transfer of ownership. Text, photographs, graphics, video, software, trademarks, logos, and other materials are owned by Adventurer Manufacturing or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Without permission, you may not commercially reproduce, distribute, publicly display, license, or mirror Website materials; remove proprietary notices; attempt to decompile or reverse engineer Website software except where the law expressly permits; interfere with Website security or availability; submit malicious code; or use automated access in a way that disrupts our systems or violates applicable law. We may suspend or revoke access as permitted by law if these terms are violated.

D3. Accuracy of website and product information

We work to provide useful Website information, but content may include typographical, technical, specification, photographic, availability, or pricing errors. Models, configurations, features, and availability can change without advance notice. Website images may show optional equipment. Confirm material product, price, and availability details with the relevant seller or representative before a purchase. Nothing here limits express written warranties or non-waivable consumer protections.

D4. Availability, disclaimers, and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our Websites and informational content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any guarantee of uninterrupted operation or error-free content. Any disclaimer of implied warranties is subject to the law applicable to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Adventurer Manufacturing, its affiliates, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Websites, such as lost profits, data, or business opportunities. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, personal injury, or any other liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

D5. Links and third-party services

External links are provided for convenience. Unless expressly stated, their inclusion does not mean we endorse or control the third party. Your use of a separate website or service is governed by that party's terms and policies.

D6. Promotions, giveaways, and social media

Contests, giveaways, sweepstakes, and similar offers are subject to their own published official rules, including applicable eligibility, residence and age restrictions, start and end dates, entry methods, prize information, winner selection, tax responsibilities, and any no-purchase requirements. Where required by law, a no-purchase method of entry will be provided. Rules may vary between promotions; do not assume a promotion is available in every location or that all promotions have identical criteria.

Unless its official rules expressly state otherwise, a promotion advertised on a social media platform is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with that platform. Information collected for a promotion will be handled as explained in this policy and any additional notice given for that promotion.

D7. Changes to the Websites and these terms

We may change Website content or these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version and its date, and provide any additional notice or affirmative agreement required by law. Updates apply prospectively to the extent required by law and do not automatically change existing purchase contracts or written product warranties.

D8. Governing law - United States (Washington)

For visitors residing in the United States: To the extent permitted by applicable law, these general Website Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, together with applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to mandatory consumer-protection laws and any other applicable limits on forum selection, disputes concerning these Website Terms may be brought in courts of competent jurisdiction in Washington. This clause does not override non-waivable rights under the laws of the visitor's home state or federal law.

D9. Governing law - Canada (British Columbia)

For visitors residing in Canada: To the extent permitted by applicable law, these general Website Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, together with applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to mandatory consumer-protection laws and any other applicable limits on forum selection, disputes concerning these Website Terms may be brought in courts of competent jurisdiction in British Columbia. This clause does not override non-waivable rights under the laws of the visitor's home province or territory or federal law.

Visitors elsewhere: Nothing in these terms removes mandatory rights available under laws that apply to you. For visitors outside the United States and Canada, governing law and jurisdiction will be determined under applicable conflict-of-laws and mandatory consumer-protection rules. Separate product or transaction agreements may specify different governing-law terms.

Part E - Contact & Changes

E1. Contact us

For privacy-related inquiries, requests to exercise rights, or concerns about these terms, contact Privacy Officer, Adventurer Manufacturing through the Contact Us page linked in the footer or main navigation of the Website you are visiting. Identify the request as a "Privacy Request" or "Legal & Terms Inquiry" so it can be routed appropriately.

E2. Changes to this combined page

We may update this combined page to reflect operational changes, new website features, or legal developments. The last-revised date appears at the top. We will provide additional notice or request consent when required by law. Changes to privacy practices will not be treated as agreed to solely because you continue browsing where an additional consent is legally necessary.
